Easy Salmon Pasta
2 cups of frozen loose packed mixed vegetables or one 10 ounce package of
frozen mixed vegetables
1 1/2 cups of packaged dried corkscrew macaroni
2 green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
one 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed cheddar cheese soup
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of dried dillweed
1/4 teaspoon of dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
two 6 ounce cans of skinless, boneless salmon or tuna, drained
Fresh dill, optional
In a large saucepan cook the frozen vegetables, pasta and green onions in
boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes or just till pasta is tender.
Stir soup, milk, dried dillweed, mustard and pepper into pasta mixture.
Gently fold in salmon or tuna. Cook over low heat till heated through. If
desired, garnish with fresh dill. Makes 5 servings |
