1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese 1 pound of fettuccine Additional grated Parmesan cheese |

Cream butter, gradually beat in cream. Blend in 1/2 cup of cheese. Cover and set aside. Cook pasta in boiling, salted water until just tender, following package directions, drain. Toss fettuccine with cream mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Serve at once with extra Parmesan cheese. Serves 4
