Pasta & Pea Pods
8 ounces of mostaccioli one 6 ounce package of frozen pea pods, cooked
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
salt
pepper
1/4 cup of grated Romano cheese
Julienned carrots, optional
Cook the mostaccioli and pea pods, drain and keep warm. In a skillet, melt
butter over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from heat, add
mostaccioli and pea pods. Toss together. Season to taste with salt and
pepper. Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle with Romano. Garnish with
julienned carrots, if desired. Makes 4 servings |
