Beef Vegetable Soup with Noodles

Beef Vegetable Soup with noodles

1 pound of ground beef
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
3 carrots, thinly sliced
2 medium onions, chopped
6 cups of water
1 beef bouillon cube
one 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of small pasta shells
one 28 ounce can of tomatoes, undrained, chopped
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons of basil
salt and pepper to taste
one 10 1/2 ounce package of frozen green beans or peas


Brown ground beef in large saucepan. Add celery, carrots and onions, sauté for 5minutes, stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients, except green beans or peas, ands bring to a oil. Cover and simmer for 50 minutes. Add green beans or peas and continue simmering u until vegetables and pasta are tender. discard bay leaves and serve. Serves 6
