Pasta Shell Vegetable Soup
2 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of canned tomatoes, drained and cut in pieces
2 cups of cabbage, shredded
1 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
1/2 cup of uncooked small pasta shells
one 10 ounce can of condensed beef broth
one 10 ounce can of condensed vegetable soup
1/2 teaspoon of caraway seed
2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
Combine all ingredients, except Parmesan cheese in large saucepan. Bring
to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes
or until vegetables and pasta are tender.
Sprinkle soup with grated Parmesan cheese and serve. Serves 4 |
