Spaghetti Fromaggi
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1/4 cup of chopped green pepper
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
1/4 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
3 1/2 cups of milk
1 cup (4 ounces) of shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup (4 ounces) of shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of chopped pimento
1 package (16 ounces) of spaghetti, cooked and drained
1 tablespoon of snipped parsley
Sauté onion and green pepper in butter in a skillet.
Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Gradually add milk,
stirring until thickened and smooth.
Stir in cheeses, Worcestershire sauce, pimento, and
spaghetti. Put into a 3 quart casserole.
Bake covered, at 350ºF. for 45 minutes, or until heated
through. Sprinkle with parsley. 8 servings |
