Broiled Pork Chops

3/4 cup of ketchup
3/4 cup of water
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
6 Pork loin chops; 3/4 inch

In a saucepan combine the first 9 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside half the sauce. Place chops on broiling pan rack. Broil about 4" from the heat for 4 minutes on each side. Brush with remaining sauce. Continue broiling, turning and basting occasionally, for 3 to 4 minutes or until juices run clear. Serve with reserved sauce. Recipe by: Lisa Andis via Taste of Home Oct/Nov 97 Posted to KitMailbox Digest by Cairn Rodrigues on May 14, 1998 Yields: 6 Servings
