Pork Chops in Mushroom Sauce RecipesFromScratch.com10/2/06 6 pork chops salt and pepper to taste flour butter or margarine 1/2 can of mushroom soup 1 medium onion, chopped 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce celery or celery seed to taste 1 cup of milk
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper; dip in flour. Fry quickly in butter or margarine until brown. Combine the soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, celery and 1/2 cup of milk; pour into baking dish. Place chops on top of sauce. Rinse skillet used for cooking chops with 1/2 cup of milk, add to chops. Bake at 350ºF. for 2 hours. Chops may be placed in Dutch oven and simmer for 2 - 2 1/2 hours instead of baking. Serves 6
