Apple Pound Cake #2
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 cup of oil
2 cups of sugar
3 Eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 cups of apples, finely chopped
1/2 cup of raisins
1 cup of pecans, chopped |

In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
With mixer at medium speed, beat together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Gradually add flour mixture, beating until smooth. Fold in apples,
pecans and raisins. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake
at 325ºF. for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in
center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan. Source:

Apple Pound Cake #3
3 cups of flour
2 1/2 cups of sugar
1 cup of cooking oil
4 Eggs, unbeaten
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 teaspoons of baking powder
1 Orange, juice of
2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
4 large Tart apples
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
5 tablespoons of sugar
Mix together apples (peeled and sliced first!), cinnamon and 5 Tbsp
sugar. Set aside. In large bowl, beat together 2 1/2 cups sugar, oil,
eggs, orange juice and vanilla until smooth. Sift flour, salt and baking
powder together; add a little at a time and mix well. Lightly grease and
flour large bundt pan. Put half the batter in pan, then half the apples.
Add remaining butter and then the rest of the apples on top. Bake at 350ºF
1 hour 45 minutes. This takes awhile, but its *really* worth it!! Posted
