Ham Steak in Port Wine
2 ham slices, each about 3/4 inch thick
1 cup of sweet cider
1 cup of port wine (cider maybe used)
1/2 cup of maple syrup
3/4 cup of cranberries
3/4 cup of seedless grapes or raisins
6 slices pineapple
4 whole cloves
Juice of 1 orange
2 tablespoons of cornstarch |

Place ham slices in pot, rolling to fit, if necessary. Add the
remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour, then on LOW for 6
hours. To thicken gravy, set pot to HIGH and remove ham slices. Make a paste
of 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of water. Stir into pot. Cook
on HIGH until thick. Serves 4 - 6
