Swiss Steak 4 RecipesFromScratch.com9/5/06

1/4 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 1/2 pound of round steak, 1 inch thick
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cu of catsup
1 1/2 cup of water
1/4 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

Mix the flour, salt and pepper, pound into steak. Brown in hot fat, cover with onion and pepper. Mix catsup, water and Worcestershire sauce, pour over steak. Cover tightly and simmer for 2 - 2 1/2 hours or until tender. Makes 6 servings
