Tuna Green Bean Casserole 2
One 6 1/2 ounce can of tuna, drained 1 cup of cooked green beans 2 medium tomatoes, sliced 1/4 cup of butter or margarine 1 small onion, chopped 1 1/2 cup of grated Swiss (or cheddar) cheese 1/3 cup of flour 1 teaspoon of salt Dash of pepper 3/4 teaspoon of thyme 3/4 cup of milk 1 cup of cottage cheese 1/4 cup of sliced stuffed olives
In 1 1/2 quart casserole, layer beans, tomatoes and tuna. Cook onion in butter until soft. Stir in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk and cook until thick. Add cottage cheese and olives. Pour over vegetables and tuna. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes.
