Beef Brisket in Teriyaki Sauce

5 pounds of beef brisket
1 tablespoon of garlic salt
1/2 tablespoon of salt
Pepper to taste
1 package of Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 cup of Teriyaki sauce
1 1/2 cups of water



Cut most of fat off the brisket. Put brisket on rack in deep baking pan. Sprinkle all sides of brisket with garlic salt, salt and pepper. Sprinkle soup mix on top. Pour teriyaki sauce on top. Half of soup mixture will fall off to make gravy. Pour 1 1/2 cups water in bottom of pan. Cover with foil and bake at 275ºF.  for 5 hours.
