Baked Veal Chops with Tomato
2 tablespoons of flour
six 3 ounce veal chops
1 1/2 cups of sliced onions
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of sage
1/2 teaspoon of rosemary
1/2 cup of white wine
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of canned low sodium tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon of basil
Flour the chops and pan broil them until slightly browned. Cover with
onions, pepper, sage, rosemary, wine, and water. Put on the lid and
simmer for 15 minutes. Add tomatoes and basil and bake for 30 minutes at
400ºF. Serves 6 |
