1 pound of ziti One 1 pound container of Ricotta cheese 1/4 pound of mozzarella cheese, grated 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese 1 egg 3/4 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper 6 cups of sauce (meat sauce, if desired) |
| Cook ziti and drain well, following label directions. While noodles are cooking, make a filling. Combine Ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Layer ziti, filling and sauce in a 13"x9"x2" baking dish, starting and ending with meat sauce. Bake at 350ºF. for 40 minutes or until bubbly hot. (I also use rigatoni for a change.) Serve with salad and garlic bread.
